Hamid Bahrami, MD, FACC, RPVI, is a skilled, board-certified interventional cardiologist at Cary Cardiology, P.A., in Cary and Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina.
Dr. Bahrami specializes in all aspects of cardiovascular disease, with dedicated training in the treatment of complex coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and aortic valve disease. An avid believer in practicing evidence-based medicine, he is devoted to keeping up with the latest developments in the cardiovascular space and using new technologies. Versed in intravascular imaging and physiologic testing, Dr. Bahrami strives to provide patients with the best outcomes with any interventional procedure.
He holds board certifications in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, and vascular interpretation.
Dr. Bahrami earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in 2015. He then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. The rest of his training, which included fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, was completed at Indiana University in Bloomington.
His ambition is to treat patients and their families with the compassionate, personalized care of the highest quality. He considers every patient unique and emphasizes shared decision-making with patients and their families.
In his free time, he plays sports and loves to try new restaurants. He enjoys time with his family by going to the park, hiking, and traveling in the United States and abroad. To best serve his patients, Dr. Bahrami is fluent in English and Pashto.
He joined Cary Cardiology in 2022 and is accepting new patients.
