About Rama Garimella, MD, FACC
Patients of Cary Cardiology, P.A., in Cary, Fuquay-Varina, and Dunn, North Carolina, have been seeing Rama Garimella, MD, FACC, since she joined the practice in 1999. She holds diplomat status with the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and cardiology. She is not only dedicated to providing excellent care to her patients, but she also enjoys developing lasting relationships with them.
Dr. Garimella received her medical degree from Rangaraya Medical College in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, India, and completed her residency training in internal medicine at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and her fellowship in cardiology at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
She holds board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiography, and Cardiac Computed Tomography.
In her spare time, she enjoys quality time with her family and her dog, Max. She is active in local government and participates in many local events to help better our community. She is also an active member of her temple.
Dr. Garimella is currently accepting new patients.
She is fluent in both English and Telugu.
